Wedding flowers in all their glory
Colour plays a vital role in wedding photography and one thing that can add instant impact is fowers!
Apparently we wore flowers back in the day when we only had a couple of baths a year so the flowers would help to mask any smells! Fast forward to 2023 and florists are tasked with some pretty big projects for floral arches, bouquets, button holes, table flowers and even floral arrangements suspended from ceilings. The splash of colour and sutble aroma of herbs pleases our senses and makes us feel good, what’s not to love about flowers!?
I’ve grown an ever increasing interest in botany over the last few years and I’m taking more photographs of flowers than ever! I like shooting close ups of the delicate and intricate patterns inside roses. The colour combinations in bouquets and the engagement ring on a colourful flower always looks great!
Here’s a few of my favourites from recent weddings. Can you spot your flowers below?
Thanks for reaching the bottom!
