Hodsock Priory is a beautiful historic house on the border of Nottinghamshire & south Yorkshire. It caters for all sized weddings and has 17 stylish bedrooms. The honeymoon suite offers a great view of the lake & gardens and it’s the perfect room for those getting ready shots.

The gardens are spacious and have an abundance of colour in spring & summer. The lake in the garden attracts a wealth of local wildlife and provides a great reflection of the house. There’s also the option for an outdoor ceremony which is great in the warmer months.

Hodsock Priory is a great venue for a photographer. With lots of details and ammunition for epic photography. Here’s some of my favourite Hodsock priory wedding photographs.

We loved Matt’s work from our first look at his website, his use of light is beautiful. On the day, Matt and Christian were great and put everyone at ease. Everyone commented how friendly they were, and they had a discrete presence throughout the day, capturing candid moments.

The photos are breath-taking, and we cannot wait to get the album. There is not much more to say, Matt was great, and we cannot recommend him highly enough!
