Autumnal Wedding at Shottle Hall | Heather & Dan

Heather & Dan had originally planned a Spring wedding at Shottle Hall in 2021. With covid throwing a spanner in the works they moved their wedding back to October 2022.

Shottle Hall is in the heart of the Derbyshire countryside. The location and time of year is great for photographers who look for colour and it didn’t disappoint! The weather was great and really helped for some nice bride and groom shots by the warm Acer at the rear. Their pet dog Winnie was a VIP and featured in some lovely family photos! I highly recommend bringing dogs to the wedding!

A stunning sun set and an easy going couple really helped to achieve some lovely moments for them to cherish.

How long have you been together/Any stories about how you met?:

We’ve been together 10 years and got engaged in Thailand in 2019.

Reasons for choosing your venue?

I loved that Shottle Hall had the stunning orangery and hall and it was just the right size for our numbers, making it intimate but big enough. The grounds are also stunning and perfect in autumn!

Theme/Style:

Classic white, with greenery and golds.

Any special thoughts/memories from the day?

The whole day was amazing. It went perfectly and we couldn’t have asked for it to go better. All our suppliers were amazing, and we wouldn’t change a thing! I wish I could re-live the whole thing again!
