Here’s the highlights from a lovely Spring wedding at Norwood Park with Laura & Adam. This would be my first wedding of 2018 and it was great to start the year off with a bang! As luck had it, it was one of the hottest day’s of the year with a full day of sunshine and hardly a cloud in the sky! The day started with Laura and the girls at Norwood Park in the honeymoon suit, the perfect setting for morning preparation photographs. Followed by a lovely church ceremony at nearby Halam church. The rest of the celebrations were at Norwood Park where we managed to get some pretty epic bride and groom shots! The evening saw a busy dance floor all thanks to 2 fantastic DJ’s who literally played every floor filler I can think of! Here’s some info from the couple and some highlights from what was a fantastic day.
Information & advice from the newly-weds.
How long have you been together/Any stories about how you met?: Two and a half years. We met at work when Adam came into my office, I added him online and we just started talking.
Any stories or tales from the proposal: We were hungover after having a house party the night before. I was having a cup of tea on the sofa and Adam said he was going to wash the car. He came back in with a ring, got down on one knee and asked me to marry him.
Reasons for choosing your venue: Ever since being little I’ve wanted my wedding at Norwood Park. I used to go on family walks through the strawberry field and apple orchards.
Colour scheme/theme/style: Pinks, whites and floral. We wanted it very classy looking but simple.
Any special thoughts/memories from the day: When we kissed at the alter and we remember everyone cheering.
Any advice for couples planning a wedding: Try to plan your day for you and not around your guests. Choose things because you want them not because you’re worried your guests won’t like it. Also, carefully consider your invites as numbers can be limited and you may well find you have a lot of guests who don’t turn up for the evening reception.
