How long have you been together: Since may 25th 2014

Any stories or tales from the proposal: Steve proposed to me on Christmas day 2014. I had it in my head that he would propose on Christmas eve so I was in a mood when he didn’t! I thought I must of got it all wrong and that he wasn’t actually going to propose! He kept me waiting all morning though and eventually popped the question on Christmas day!

About the wedding

Reasons for choosing your venue: I’ve always liked Horsley lodge as we’ve been for a few family meals. All I had to do was convince Steve, which was pretty easy when I told him I’d blagged a free round of golf if we chose that venue.

Any special thoughts/memories from the day: The whole day and day before was amazing. The staff really did everything to make sure we had a great time! The whole day from start to finish was perfect so we can’t really pick out a favorite moment. Although our maid of honour’s rap was a real highlight!

Any advice for couples planning a wedding: Let the bride organise it all but show an interest when she asks your opinion (even though she probably won’t listen) “bride knows best” -)
