Chiswick House Wedding Photography – Mr & Mrs Dugdale 21/08/2015

Farah & John tied the knot at Chiswick House, a magnificent 1729 building in west London with exquisite interiors and stunning gardens (which inspired many other gardens including New York’s Central Park.) This is a wedding I was really looking forward too – my first London wedding and my first Asian ceremony.. no pressure then!

The day started at the Chiswick Moran Hotel with Farah and her two bridesmaids, the weather was looking good which was a relief! I arrived at Chiswick House to capture the guests arriving, also John and his 9 grooms men getting started on the XO Cognac, Nice!

The Nikkah ceremony took place outside the house in the summer sun – a lovely ceremony full of laughter and colour which proceeded with post ceremony drinks, a selection of mouthwatering canapés, subtle sitar music in the background and some outdoor group shots before Farah went to change into her second wedding dress.

The civil ceremony was held inside the house, a spectacular room with a gold colour scheme, a large dome roof and grand ancient paintings (of immense value) The shape and size of the room created a close and intimate feeling, with the music playing to Farah’s entrance there was no shortage of photographs capturing the feeling and emotion during this part of the day. After the giving and receiving of rings, Farah & John went to sign the register.. in another spectacular room, complete with blue velvet wallpaper!

As the wedding party left the house, I got everybody on the diamond staircase for a whole group shot before getting the newly-weds back inside for a few bride & groom shots.

With the wedding party now relaxing in the marquee, they were treated to a duet by the bridesmaids who sang Clean Bandit – Rather Be, whilst the catering company served some of the finest authentic Indian food I’ve ever tasted!

The evening entertainment was an interactive bollywood style dance workshop provided by KSpark Entertainment – After a fantastic and well choreographed dance display, guests of all ages were encouraged to get on the dance floor and try it for themselves.
