We could not have asked for a better photographer than Matt (and Christian too!) for our wedding. They were amazing on the day, making sure they got the best photos whilst not letting the day become one long photo shoot and just being really great fun. Most importantly though, the photos are absolutely beautiful and an amazing reminder of a perfect day. Matt and Paul shot our wedding in May! They were so professional throughout the day and did everything to capture the most beautiful pictures! They were with us for around 11 hours capturing all the most wonderful moments of the day! They are experts with lighting, and have incredible fancy equipment to ensure the best quality pictures! We got our wedding pictures back in less than 4 weeks which is unheard of, with a wonderful complimentary box of pictures, a magnet, a keyring and some sweets (thank you so much!). After finding Matt online and seeing his portfolio (which speaks for itself), we asked him to photograph our wedding and could not be happier!!! The way he and Christian captured our day is fantastic; their passion for photography is so evident! There are so many candid shots of friends and family which really bring back the emotions of the day, as well as breath-taking photographs we will treasure forever! As well as their photography, Matt and Christian are so easy to work with. One of the biggest compliments we can give them is that a number of our guests, having seen their work, have commented on how they hadn’t even realised they were there! We picked Matt to photograph our wedding in March after a google search and a look through his portfolio. From day one, he made everything so easy. From booking, to deposit’s, to the day itself. Matt kept in touch with us and answered any questions we had before the day. We had a planning meeting a few weeks before the big day so we could ensure everything went off without a hitch. On the day itself, Matt and his colleague Christian were an absolute pleasure to have around! It was like having two extra mates with us on our wedding day! As the bride, please don’t underestimate how important this is (groom too!). The photographers are with you during intimate moments of your day. It’s so important whomever you choose, you’re 100% comfortable with. It’s a personal thing but we loved Matt’s style of photography. We did minimal posed photo’s, the vast majority we did was candid which meant Matt and Christian captured some amazing natural moments and we didn’t spend hours of day posing and being dragged away from our guests. We were able to just enjoy our wedding. We did a handful of posed photos which maybe took us away for 15 minutes. The photos themselves are incredible. We got the gallery back last week and I’ve been through them so many times. They’re just beautiful. Please make sure you look through Matt’s portfolio. We made use of his services in July 2025. What made us choose Matt for our wedding from the start, is how deeply he cares about the couple he's working with. From the moment we met him for a coffee and chat at his studio, right through to the wedding and picking out our wedding album; he's taken great care to get to know us and what we would like. He provides top-class services, communication and feedback. His natural style allows for those truly perfect and memorable moments of pure joy, love and happiness to be captured, while you as the bride and groom get to truly enjoy your wedding day. We received our exquisite wedding album from him recently as part of the package we chose. Words and the images below do not do it justice, because in real life, the album is just a million times better. We opted for the 16×12 Album with Laser-Etched Text, silk pages, dark grey textile inside and light grey textile outside. From choosing our favourite images, to communicating with Matt about colours and material option, right through to receiving a very securely and incredibly well wrapped box with our beautiful album in, the entire process was overseen with such great care and professionalism. 5 stars. 10 out of 10. 100% brilliant. The best. Would definitely recommend. Don’t go to ANYONE else!! I could use this review to talk about Matt’s incredible eye for detail. Or his ability to see the shot that most others wouldn’t. How he makes you feel so comfortable and at ease on the most important (and possibly most stressful!) day of your life. How he naturally provides breaks during your wedding (for pictures) that allow it to just be you and your newly wedded partner, away from the crowd and the (semi) organised chaos, enjoying some of your big day just the two of you. I could use this review to explain how wonderful his end product is, how he captures the things that paint the picture of the day. How the photos tell the story. How incredible the albums look and feel, and how they bring your big day back to life, over and over again. But I won’t - because I’m going to instead focus on Matt himself. The kindest, most patient guy. My wife and I must be up there on Matt’s “most frustrating clients” list! For various reasons our wedding was delayed by a year, so all the early prep Matt did had to go on hold. Our big day came and went without a hitch - with Matt and his colleague Will capturing the whole day perfectly. After the wedding, for various other reasons, we could not promptly reply to Matt’s messages and requests when it came to arranging our wedding albums. It meant that 9 months would pass before we could finalise our album - this was entirely our fault. But Matt, legend that he is, stayed patient with us, never made us feel that we were being chased or under pressure, and stayed in contact with us throughout. Absolutely exceptional customer service to two customers who probably didn’t deserve such patience! I’ve only been married this one time and have therefore never had experience of another wedding photographer. And yet, I will confidently say, with absolutely no doubt in my mind, that you will not find a better photographer out there than Matt! We used Matt for our wedding in September and he was great from the off, we are London based so we didn't actually meet face to face with Matt but we had a phone call before we booked him and we were confident that we wanted to book him just from the phone call. On the day Matt and his assistant (so sorry i cant remember his name, the day was a blur!) were great, very professional, very friendly and enthusiastic. Shout out to Matt!! We signed up with Matt a year ago and don't regret it!! During our initial visit over zoom we knew he was the perfect match for us. We reside in America and he made it easy for us to work with him throughout the year via video calls, Whatsapp or email anytime! During our brief visit to England he fitted us in his schedule it was lovely to meet him in person! Matt, is friendly, helpful organised and great to work with, he would reach out and check-in! On our wedding day Matt and Christian made us feel comfortable and we didn't even notice they were there. They captured our day with epic photos of our Hindu ceremony. Started the morning with coloured flares and ending beautifully with a display of fireworks! Truly a magical day all captured spectacularly memories we will always treasure! Matt was really helpful in scanning some slides from the 1960's and for digitising them.  He also took some very old photographs and digitised and printed them out - including a victorian photograph which he tidied away the damage caused by years of light on the photo rendering detail viewable again. This was great as it meant both sides knew we wanted the same things. We hired Matt to be our wedding photographer and are so glad that we did. Matt was with us from Bridal prep until the party late in the evening (he stayed past the first dance & cake cutting to capture some dance/party pics). Matt and his 2nd shooter Will were excellent, managing to take photos without being intrusive during the service and reception. In the run up to the wedding Matt made sure to check in and confirm whether there were any specific photos we really wanted to capture. Instead of having a dedicated time for photos in the wedding timeline, Matt would grab us at the right moments to capture some shots which kept up the flow of the day. Matt was happy for guests to grab him throughout the day to capture any photos and it was great to see so many group shots when we looked through the finished pictures. Matt and Will were great fun throughout the day, they gave our guests clear instructions and had a clear creative vision for the shots they wanted to capture. The finished photos are absolutely stunning and there are so many incredible shots that we have struggled to pick favourites. Matt’s storytelling photography style is just beautiful and we have so many gorgeous shots from the different parts of the day. He did an incredible job of capturing split second candid moments that bring back memories of the day. We received our finished photos about a month after the wedding and Matt sent clear instructions along with a link to a personalised website containing all our shots. There was a link that we could share with our guests that would allow them to view the images. We also received a selection of our photos as physical prints and a magnet along with some sweets. Matt clearly has a keen eye for getting the perfect picture and our wedding photographs will be treasured forever, we've had so many comments of how amazing they are. We are so pleased that we entrusted Matt with capturing our wedding day for us. A friend actually recommended him, as she went to school with Matt, but the second we met him, we knew he was for us. His professionalism and kindness from day one, made it the easiest decision to book him as our wedding photographer. He was punctual, polite and in no-way obtrusive on the day. He blended in and moved seamlessly around our guests to take the best photos we’ve ever seen. When our photos were finished, we were absolutely bowled over with how incredible they were. We are so pleased with our wedding photos he captured the day perfectly and when looking back on the photos it feels like your reliving the whole day which is what every couple should have. The most amazing pictures!! After starting a google search for local photographers we knew we wanted someone to create those breath taking shots. We came across Matts website and knew these were the types of images we wanted of our day. The one thing you get to take away from your wedding is the images, we love the candid nature of our photos, capturing those little moments without the pressure of having a camera in your face all day. Matt and Christian were simply amazing. Matt could tell I was nervous and that I wasnt keen on having my picture taken but he managed to get some incredible shots of us. He was so personable and manged to make us all laugh. It was like we had known him for years. He managed to capture all the little details of the day, people having fun, some incredible dancing skills from our quests and some beautiful moments of us taking time for ourselves. We were very excited to go and see our images. It had been a couple of weeks since the big day and we really wanted to relive it. It was such an emotional experience. We received our wedding photos from Matt this weekend, less than 4 weeks after our lovely February wedding. We have had a fabulous experience with Matt (and the superb Christian) from start to finish. Matt is a great communicator and began the process by meeting with us to go through some of his work and make sure his style was a good fit for us. We fell in love with Matt’s photos the moment we first saw them, and his bold, dynamic style and was a great fit for us. In fact, his helpful blog from previous brides and grooms inspired many of the supplier choices we made for our day! Matt and Christian made us feel so at ease on our day. We were confident every step of the way that they’d got great photos - but also had good fun with them because they’re both cool dudes! We could not have asked for a better experience and we have beautiful memories that we will treasure forever. The photos are absolutely stunning and really deliver those ‘wow’ shots as well as some beautiful, candid moments. It’s clear that Matt is not only really passionate about photography: we felt he also tried to understand what was important to us and make sure that was captured every step of the way. We were able to plan our day with him, and the day itself went so smoothly with him and Martin getting those perfect shots. Matt was with me from the morning so we were able to get plenty of getting ready photos. He and Martin both stayed right into the evening and got a lot of natural shots of us and our guests. Matt had a lot of great ideas on where we should stand or what we should do so that we could get the perfect shot, as well as bringing to life any ideas we may have had. We got the photos back really quickly too. Overall we are so pleased with how the photos have turned out and we are so glad we chose Matt to capture our day. After reviewing a number of photographers online we visited and Matt and knew straight away he was the one for us. Matt and Christian shot our wedding in May and they joined us for the whole day and well in to the evening. They captured all the beautiful moments and we love the candid ones that we missed on the day. The photos are absolutely stunning and they have certainly delivered those 'WOW' shots. We picked Matt to photograph our wedding in March after a google search and a look through his portfolio. From day one, he made everything so easy. From booking, to deposit’s, to the day itself. Matt kept in touch with us and answered any questions we had before the day. We had a planning meeting a few weeks before the big day so we could ensure everything went off without a hitch. On the day itself, Matt and his colleague Christian were an absolute pleasure to have around! It was like having two extra mates with us on our wedding day! As the bride, please don’t underestimate how important this is (groom too!). The photographers are with you during intimate moments of your day. It’s so important whomever you choose, you’re 100% comfortable with. It’s a personal thing but we loved Matt’s style of photography. We did minimal posed photo’s, the vast majority we did was candid which meant Matt and Christian captured some amazing natural moments and we didn’t spend hours of day posing and being dragged away from our guests. We were able to just enjoy our wedding. We did a handful of posed photos which maybe took us away for 15 minutes. The photos themselves are incredible. We got the gallery back last week and I’ve been through them so many times. They’re just beautiful. Please make sure you look through Matt’s portfolio. Matt and Christian were both amazing, they put us and the guest at ease and most of the time we didn't even know they were there. Matt clearly has a keen eye for getting the perfect picture and our wedding photographs will be treasured forever, we've had so many comments of how amazing they are. Wedding photography is always a big cost, but no doubt Matt's prices could be three times as much and I would happily pay it time and time again. Cannot recommend his services enough. I cannot recommend Matt enough, he was brilliant on our wedding day and there was not a single photo he took that we didn’t like. Through the whole process Matt has always been friendly, approachable & understanding especially when we had to change out wedding date due to covid. We hired Matt to be our wedding photographer and are so glad that we did. Matt was with us from Bridal prep until the party late in the evening (he stayed past the first dance & cake cutting to capture some dance/party pics). Matt and his 2nd shooter Will were excellent, managing to take photos without being intrusive during the service and reception. In the run up to the wedding Matt made sure to check in and confirm whether there were any specific photos we really wanted to capture. Instead of having a dedicated time for photos in the wedding timeline, Matt would grab us at the right moments to capture some shots which kept up the flow of the day. Matt was happy for guests to grab him throughout the day to capture any photos and it was great to see so many group shots when we looked through the finished pictures. Matt and Will were great fun throughout the day, they gave our guests clear instructions and had a clear creative vision for the shots they wanted to capture. The finished photos are absolutely stunning and there are so many incredible shots that we have struggled to pick favourites. Matt’s storytelling photography style is just beautiful and we have so many gorgeous shots from the different parts of the day. He did an incredible job of capturing split second candid moments that bring back memories of the day. We received our finished photos about a month after the wedding and Matt sent clear instructions along with a link to a personalised website containing all our shots. There was a link that we could share with our guests that would allow them to view the images. We also received a selection of our photos as physical prints and a magnet along with some sweets. We booked with Matt back in January 2019, after 2 cancelled dates we finally had our wedding. Matt has been nothing but accommodating, he changed our first 2 dates, worked around us, changed venues and has been nothing short of fantastic!! His communication has been brilliant, he has been sympathetic to our circumstances and wonderful to work with. He has really gone above and beyond for us, and we cannot thank him enough. During our day he kept us so relaxed and worked around our schedule. He was efficient and productive, and the results speak volumes!! Our pictures are beautiful and perfect! We were impressed with the photographs we had viewed online of Matts work and from first meeting at his studios we knew he was the best person to help capture our special day. From the moment we first met Matt, we instantly warmed to him, very friendly and easy to get along with. on the run up to the wedding, Matt was always contactable with any questions or suggestions we had. On the day, Matt along with his assistant Gareth arrived at the venue and instantly fit in with the day. Throughout the day they made it fun having out photos taken and put us all at ease. this has resulted in our amazing wedding photos which show the happiness and love that we felt on the day. Matt photographed our wedding at the Peak Edge Hotel, Derbyshire in November. We liked Matt's work and the photos were great. A lovely mixture of formal and relaxed shots. He also spoke to us about some off-site photos and we agreed to a quick trip to local moors. It was well worth it, particularly as we really wanted some countryside images. Matt worked with an assistant, Christian who was also great and together they were able to capture different angles / moments. I couldn’t of asked for anything more off Matt as our wedding photographer. The photos which he has produced for us are absolutely amazing and I get a tear in my eye when I look back on our photos.  He has captured us and our guests when we are looking natural and they have come out fabulously as they tell the emotions of how we felt on the day.  We didn’t feel awkward or like we was on a photo shoot everything felt really relaxed and he blended into the background to take the most intimate of photos. Matt photographed my graduation, together with my family, on my campus. The photos turned out really amazing, a mix of posed shoots and candid ones which reflected the emotions of that day really well! I really enjoy looking at the photos and re-live in the memories of that day. Even prior to the shoot, Matt took effort to call me over the phone for a quick chat in spite of his busy schedule. We booked Matt for our wedding and were so glad we did. Matt was incredible from day 1. We found ourselves in the early days cancelling our venue so attempted to cancel Matt which would mean we lost the deposit. Matt was amazing, he wouldn’t let us knee jerk and cancel and said ‘hang fire you may find somewhere else’ and we did, so we didn’t lose our deposit. Matt kept in touch with Zoom meetings and had a really good idea of what we wanted. On the day I was really anxious about having photographers around. However after the first 5 minutes I’d forgot all about them.. In a good way! Matt and Christian were like part of our friends and family on the day. Our guest commented on how friendly they were and just how they were generally great guys. Polite and professional at all times. My sons are autistic, and I was really worried about how they’d be on the day. Matt was really patient and helped to keep my youngest occupied and out of the frame while I was having my photo taken . Relieving so much stress for me. The photos we’ve seen so far look amazing and I can’t wait to see the rest. Were not photogenic either so the natural not forced posing was perfect for us. I actually ended up having so much fun doing the photos. It was an October wedding and got chilly later on. Matt even gave me his jacket to help stop my lips turning blue! We took some great photos with smoke cannons and sparklers too, we captured everything I wanted. Matt made sure to check in before he left to see if there was anything else we wanted. There wasn’t he had covered everything. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Matts services. You won’t regret it. These are two of the nicest and friendliest guys you could have at your wedding. Matt was really helpful in scanning some slides from the 1960's and for digitising them.  He also took some very old photographs and digitised and printed them out - including a victorian photograph which he tidied away the damage caused by years of light on the photo rendering detail viewable again.
