2018’s Best. Wedding Photographer Nottingham & Derby

2018 – What a year it’s been, It’s certainly kept me busy! A house move, a new addition to the family, a new studio and my busiest year on record. It’s had its fair share of ups and downs. This is a post to reflect on what’s been a crazy year of wedding photography.

Weddings today still hold various traditions, but it’s great to see couples add their own spin on things. I’ve always said no two weddings are the same and it’s pretty cool to see how different people celebrate their big day. I think if I every wedding was the same, my job would be mundane and I’d begin to lack enthusiasm. With every wedding I attend, I’m giving my all. I strive to see new things, find interesting backgrounds & scenes, and to create memories that never fade.

What have I captured in 2018? Church weddings, civil ceremonies, a humanist wedding, same sex weddings, an overseas wedding, new venues, sunsets, fireworks, love, laughter, tears and emotions in all seasons in all weather.

Special thanks must go to all the couples who put their faith in me to capture their big day. Also thanks go out to all the venues, some of which I have build some good relationships and become a recommended supplier. Thanks to all the suppliers I’ve worked with over the last year, and also a special shout out to Christian (and the other second photographers I’ve worked with) It’s been a right laugh and I’m already looking forward to a crazy 2019!

Awesome weddings I captured in 2018

Number of photographs taken

I would not hesitate to recommend Matt to anyone, he is absolutely fantastic at what he does! We are so pleased with our wedding photos, he captured the day perfectly and when looking back at the photos it’s like reliving the whole day!

Carly Brice

So friendly and down to earth and so professional. He was there when I was getting ready to late at night. He really wants to capture all aspects of the big day. The images are incredible. I can’t recommend him enough.
